Madeleine "Maddie" Cannon shares her trailer with a dog on the set of a horrible scifi movie, and Jonnie Lao-Zhing Lee of TV's Lotus Wind series-sits in as an advisor for the remake while hottie actor Billy Benton whitewashes his film.
It’s interesting to see actors without money, while today, most of them don’t know what to do with all of theirs. While it is an unusual circumstance, the readers are drawn to sympathize with them because us, the average comic book readers, don’t have millions of dollars ourselves. The Big Con Job issue two continues the grind, but knowing Palmiotti, there is a payoff at the end, and I dont want to miss it. With this character building and Domos grounded artwork, the remainder of The Big Con Job should be fun to read. Read Full Review
The artwork is still carrying on the same style as Issue 1 with its very American comic style, with darker colours and shadowing. As well as its curvy women, as you can see from the front cover. Read Full Review
The pacing has slowed right down, but honestly I would read this as an ongoing series. I like the characters, even if some of their motivations feel slightly rushed. That's what you get with only four issues I guess. Read Full Review
