This issue incorporated horror into a story that has felt suspenseful and is evident on the purpose of laying a foundation of whats to come. As new characters are introduced, the plot is given a moment to expand on the moving pieces and the conflict to come bring it all together. Following the ending of the last arc, I was interested to see where Phillips and Flaviano took the story. Luckily, the opening issue of this new arc keeps the quality of the previous five issues. There's a solid amount of mystery presented here, and I don't think that the direction here is as obvious as the first arc, at least not yet. The ending here is a little abrupt, but I'm still intrigued to see how this plays out.
