    The story slows down following last issues revelation that Will is fictional and his creator is dead. The flashback exposition doesnt generate much urgency. And Will continues to be a largely static, uncompelling character. Profane #2 is diverting enough, but it doesnt seem to be in a hurry to get anywhere. Read Full Review

    Overall this is a good second issue to a five issue arc. A lot of the players are in motion and readers just have to wait, much like Will, to see what happens next. This is slowly building to a book that could be a joy to go back and re-read once it concludes. Read Full Review
