Finally, we get an issue with only Angel OR Faith. It's a breath of fresh air because it's been struggling to be consistent with juggling those two storylines. There's still the awkward transitions, but they feel much less awkward since they're all connected to the same plot. I still think it's a technique that works in TV much better than comics, or at least this comic's execution thereof. But now that we're finally focused in on something, I have high hopes. This issue of Angel & Faith is the start of something new which has a lot of potential if it capitalizes on the twist we are given at the end of the previous issue. There is obviously something more to this seen on the surface and it only takes someone like Amy stepping into the picture to signal that others are taking advantage of this new world they live in. In general this is a good transition in Angel's side of the story that both gives him more meaning and explores where he is at mentally/emotionally at this moment. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Milo Milton Jefferies Aug 11, 2014

The twist is fun and this issue is a nice story that works just as well on its own as it does in a series. Angel & Faith continues to be a strong series and itll be interesting to see where things go from here, whether well see Faith get her own whole issue next month or the attention will be split back between the two. One things for sure though, Angel & Faith Season 10 #5 showed that it was capable of handling an issue with just one of these characters well and comes recommended as a result of this. It's great to see both Buffyverse series on track, rather than playing the "which is the good series this time?" game. Gischler's moving the book alone well, and the next time Santacruz needs to step in for guest pencils, I'm game. If you haven't picked up the new "Angel & Faith Season 10" series, this is as good a place as any to give a sample and see for yourself what's inside. Read Full Review
