Angel’s taking some beatings in Magic Town, while Faith is dishing them out, whether they’re deserved or not. The two remain a world apart, dealing with a demonic rock god and a city preyed on by the magical powers exploding inside it.

Faith may have taken a back seat for this issue but the action and excitement make it the best issue of Angel & Faith Season 10 yet. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

Rhymes With Geek - Nikki Sherman Jul 3, 2014

If you were hoping Season 10 of Angel & Faith would pick itself up and dust itself off, this issue is for you. With an exciting fight taking up most of the space in this issue, and significant plot points revealed throughout, issue #4 feels well-rounded and back to basics. The art is gorgeous, both in the carefully designed environments and attention to detail in all aspects. The covers are amazing as usual (though the yin-yang Faith one obviously won me over because reasons) and there's no reason not to continue getting this series. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Jul 2, 2014

Angel & Faith Season 10 #4 is the end of Angel and Faith questioning the new path they have taken, and start going along for the ride. Not only did they feel new to their environments, we did too and that is the best way to get us into this season. You definitely don't need to know everything that happens before this season and there's enough reason to get into it if you just know the type of people both Angel and Faith are. Read Full Review

Backwards Compatible - Paul Fiander Jul 4, 2014

At the fourth issue season 10 of Angela and Faith is highly engaging and full of action. The balance of shared narrative ebbs and flows from issue to issue but when a story needs a longer look Victor Gischler seems able to bend the issue to his will. This new creative team seem to have gotten their feet wet and now are plunging straight into the deep end especially in the way the issue ends. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Milo Milton Jefferies Jul 4, 2014

Regardless, of any flaws though, Victor Gischler, Will Conrad and Michelle Mason are the right team to handle Angel & Faith and as long as it remains a fun ride like it was here it should be interesting to see where it goes, especially with an interesting ending scene that hints at promising things to come. The Fandom Post - Kory Cerjak Jul 2, 2014

I feel like Angel and Faith Season Ten will get a lot better once we get out of the "When the River Meets the Sea" storyline. These issues may be nice to read all in one go, but they feel way too disconnected as single issues. I like what they're setting up with Angel and Faith's separate storylines, but there needs to be some focus as to where the plot's going. It's just not there yet. Read Full Review
