The Reborn series draws to a close and in some way delivers us a quiet end for Lucy (for now) and provides some closure there while opening up to the chaos of what the final piece will be. While the Reborn series has been a good ride, it turns out that this entire chapter is nothing more than a tease for the larger story's next phase. While that is a popular storytelling technique to pull in an audience, this tale ends without any real resolution. Feel weird rating this "ending" considering that it is not the end.
I can't even really say that this series has taken advantage of the roster of characters it's spent a lot of time and energy developing the last seven years.
The status quo shifts, choices are made, and the worlds are ending... just another day in SPIRAL CITY.
