    Borealis is unlike any horror comic I’ve read in recent memory. Mark Verheiden and Aaron Douglas spin an intricate story, with a truly unique setting and a memorable protagonist in Sil. The artwork is also amazing, with Cliff Richard’s ominous art perfectly completed by the cool colors of Guy Major. This action flows smoothly from panel to panel, as tense as any cinematic thriller. If you are a horror fan, you won’t want to miss this one!     It started off very uninteresting. Then as the story started to take shape, I started to take some interest. It's not a great #1, but it left me in a position to want to try #2.
