Dan is the artist here who also does the cover art, while Dave handles the colours, and the letters are by Richard Starkings & Comicraft. The art here is unbelievably good, same as before. There's a certain angular stylishness to the pencils, and the colours are often slightly muted, adding to the whole mood of the whole thing, and when things go to hell in the middle of the book and then again towards the end, the pencils and colours and inks really stand out, resulting in some excellent visuals that I keep looking at again and again. The Fandom Post - Josh Begley Feb 13, 2015

Issue two of Conan Red Sonja is better than the first. Now that it's gotten over the somewhat bumpy first issue syndrome, it's firing on all cylinders and looks to be shaping up as a meditation on their relationship as much as it is telling a story about a series of connected encounters they have over the course of their lives. It will be interesting to see how it plays out"perhaps an aged Sonja will visit King Conan in the final issue and they drink and reminisce. Only time will tell, and in the meantime, I'm looking forward to the next issue, as this series just keeps getting better. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - David Pepose Feb 12, 2015

Structurally, Gail Simone and Jim Zub's script flows much better than the last issue, and now they balance pulse-pounding action with some wry relationship humor, as both Conan and Red Sonja's significant others frown upon the instant kinship these two display. Read Full Review

Doom Rocket - Molly Jane Kremer Feb 16, 2015

Artist Dan Panosian's clean inks and sharp angles again make this comic a joy to peruse, and as ever, colorist Dave Stewart's colors match and complement the artist's style perfectly (but do we expect anything less from the multiple Eisner Award-winner? Stewart's work is always flawless.) Even in the midst of battle, Panosian draws our titular Barbarian with a grin on his face more often than a grimace, and it's a smile as contagious as Thoth-Amon's dreaded bloodroot. Expect to be wearing the same grin yourself upon reading the issue. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Tyler Goulet Feb 11, 2015

One of the best things about Conan Red Sonja, aside from the fact that is has both Conan and Red Sonja together in one book, is that its fun. There are so many dark and gritty books out there that sometimes it feels like the fun aspect of comics is thrown out the window in favor of seriousness or some other misconstrued ideal. Simones Red Sonja from Dynamite is fun, no doubt, and its great to see that pulled into this series and Zub is a great writer capable of many things (maybe a future Conan run, Dark Horse?), plus Panosian and Stewart deliver in a big way on art, so if youre tired of the same old dark and grit you should do yourself a favor and check out Conan Red Sonja. You wont regret it. Read Full Review
