    This was one of the stronger volumes of Dark Horse Presents, but it could have been pieced together better. I found it funny that Alabaster was the second to last story when typically it would have been first or second. Granted Mike Mignola isn't going to take second billing, not after everything he's done for Dark Horse and them for him. But I would say that Alabaster is much like Burden of Beasts and should have been at the beginning. There's also a lot of black comedy or attempts at it that just didn't fit in between the more serious stories here. In general this was a good collection, but didn't have the feel that a normal issue of Dark Horse Presents usually has. Read Full Review
