As the previous issue was more unique, this one borrows heavily from concepts introduced in other stories, mixing them together. That's a bit of a letdown.
The artwork is excellent, even better than before.
The story feels disconnected for most of the issue, although it comes together by the end. Why? I'm not really sure. It feels like the reader is left out of the narrative in some way.
It's the same with other comic series. Some stories are simply better suited to being read as a collected trade paperback (TPB) rather than being split into individual comic issues.+ Like • Comment -
