Ania Solo and her friends find themselves fighting alongside the Imperial Knights and the Empress herself against a legion of Sith! While the others fight for control of the galaxy, Ania fights to save her friend—Imperial Knight Jao Assam, who has been enslaved by the dark side!
This is the end of over two decades of work in super style. Thank you, Dark Horse Comics. This is the way to go out. Read Full Review
The battle plays out much like the Geonosis arena battle in Attack of the Clones, except that this time it is not terrible. This battle has Imperial Knights fighting Sith on one side, Stormtroopers protecting Empress Fel on another, and Darth Wredd battling almost everyone all over the battlefield. During this time, Ania and her crew are simply trying to survive while also protecting their ship from damage. Ania's portion of the battle may have been smaller seeing how she was the only one without a lightsaber, but she still managed to play the final role in the battle and the larger story. The best part was seeing how far Ania would go to protect her friends from harm. This is totally a Solo personality trait. Read Full Review
Star Wars: Legacy #18 brings its narrative path to a close but ends its intergalactic shenanigans on the right note, so what more can a dedicated fan possibly ask for? Recommended. Read Full Review
Star Wars Legacy II is a fun series. With it only being 18 issues long there really isn't a good enough reason for a fan of the genre not to try it out. It definitely is a Solo-like comic book and this final issue uses the character to perfection. Even the most die-hard Han Solo fan would smile at how his distant descendant is used in this book. I enjoyed this comic book and found it to be a proper ending to the series. Dark Horse did the property right for over twenty years and there is a massive back catalog that proves me right. Check it out someday. Read Full Review

In spite of the unappealing art of Star Wars Legacy #18, I think the issue and the series overall are worth reading. The story Bechko and Hardman told was intriguing, and added some dimension to the future of the Star Wars universe. I wish that Hardman had been able to keep up the art duties, but in spite of the drop in quality with other illustrators, Star Wars Legacy told 18 issues of a quality story, capping it with an epic battle and satisfying ending. Star Wars Legacy Vol. 2 #18 brings the series home, even if the impact isn't all that satisfying at times. The issue seemingly tries to cram in a ton of story in some haphazard ways, and while some readers may be happy just to see how it ends, it is sad to see it leave on this note. This creative team has done stronger work than this issue and despite what I read in #18, I do wish I could read some more adventures of Ania Solo and crew in the future. Read Full Review
