Everything is coming together nicely this issue. Those looking for the political side of things alluded to last issue shouldn't hold their breath, but I can't see that being an issue either. Essentially this issue gets the band together as tensions build into the next issue. Considering we get a gnarly looking alien beastie and a full throttle script I don't see how you could complain either way. Read Full Review
Star Wars: Legacy Volume 2 #3 is another excellent extension of this universe, as it does just enough right for both fanboys and fangirls to be worthy of the heritage it now represents. Recommended. Read Full Review
More than anything, this issue suffers from a strange sense of pacing. There are no less than three scenes of small ships being pursued by enemies in high-stakes shoot-outs, with bursts of character interaction in between. When Ania and friends encounter Assam, they progress from wary enemies to willing partners a little too quickly. Hopefully this odd pacing will smooth out as the ongoing direction for the series becomes clear. But for now, Legacy is the rare Star Wars comic that's more a visual showpiece than anything.
