The Skin Traders and their psycho leader, Dr. Heide, have tracked X to a besieged Arcadia hospital! Horrifically injured, X will have to use every dirty trick in his playbook to barbecue Pig Man and his snorting henchmen! Swierczynski and Nguyen serve up wall-to-wall action!
This brief summary does no justice to Duane Swiercznski's writing. He is a master of dialogue; his characters' words flow with the natural rhythm. His characters range and intensity from normal human to grotesque over-exaggeration, yet they are all believable. Even X,, shrouded in mystery, is a dynamic and fully rounded character. Swiercznski 's writing does not provide any easy outs. He is clearly keeping his cards close to his vest. It will be interesting to see what he chooses to reveal next. Read Full Review
X #20 puts an end to the Skin Traders and their psycho leader, Dr. Heide. A gruesome and yet exciting story that you would not forget simply because that is almost as real as you can get when you want to show how deep corruption can go in a city that is the farthest thing from safe. You know how the end result will be, though what you take from this is the thrilling ways in which X pulls all stops and resources to get the job done. Not to mention with 3 words at the end many Project Black Sky fans will want to start reading X if not already. Read Full Review
