Nightwing and Flamebird have beaten back Ursa's first assault. But Round Two is about to begin! Forget brutal now it gets personal.
Overall, the unfolding of Chris story and the further developments of General Lanes machinations along with Ursa and Zods sleeper Kryptonians scheme keep us eager for more, as it is obvious that these developments are going to come to a head at some point with massive confrontations and battles to ensue. All in all, I'm still fairly optimistic about Rucka's Action Comics and the new Nightwing and Flamebird-centric direction. The concept is intriguing, the lead characters have potential, and Ursa makes for a great antagonist. Likewise, the issue's cliffhanger suggests some interesting things down the road. I'd like to think that Action Comics #877 is merely a bump in the road, and that it'll pick up steam again next issue. Read Full Review
There's nothing here that will entice you to pick up this book if you aren't already, but it should entertain those that already are. I just hope this comic starts picking up again or I may end up dropping it. Next issue will more than likely be the decider for me. Read Full Review
