Batman has a dangerous assignment for Batgirl: pose as a villain to infiltrate T.H.R.U.S.H., the secret organization bent on world conquest that's enlisting evildoers! Meanwhile, Solo and Kuryakin take on the identities of two Bat-foes to find their own way into the organization. They're all after the same vital piece of information: who is the mysterious new head of T.H.R.U.S.H.?
As second chapters go, this is a winner. It takes the fun and energy of the first installment and moves things along at a brisk pace, keeping the action going without ever really dragging. There's no death trap to conclude this month's issue, but the cliffhanger is rather dandy. A perfect balance of camp and '60s spy drama should make for an exciting four more issues. Read Full Review
I am not going to criticize this book for some of the cheesiness of the plot, characters and art. That is the bread and butter of this series. However, because of its pedestrian nature I also can't give it too high a rating like I did with the last issue of the regular Batman '66 comic. That one was a one-time nostalgia trip that can't be replicated. This is a good old fashioned WHAM BAM POW caper nothing more or less. Read Full Review
