Adam Beechen writes perhaps his best issue for Terry. After the last issue (which blew my mind), I didn't think he could top it but I am a sucker for human psychological monologues, and when he told me in an interview I did with him in November that Terry was going to feel some ramifications, this definitely seemed to be what he was talking about but it seems there is still more to come as I was just left awe struck until next time. There is nothing to say about Norm Breyfogle but that he is a master storyteller with his partner in crime Beechen. He masters every design of every Beyond character, and with Andrew Elder's colors recreates a not so distant future that every day seems more real. Read Full Review
It's another great issue in which all three stories deliver and two of those are quite accessible to new readers. The fights between Superman vs. Lobo and Batman vs. Joker King advertised on the cover are nowhere near as compelling as they are advertised, but there is plenty of other entertaining stuff going on to make Batman Beyond Unlimited #12 totally worth picking up.
