Mark Waid takes readers on a thrilling tour of Earth-3, delivering a story that is equal parts superhero brawl and twisted character study. The world-building is seamless; within a few pages, we understand the rules of this hellish reality and find ourselves morbidly fascinated by its monstrous inhabitants.
