I don't like that it's the end of the book, that Gail is gone, or the new line up. For that matter, up until this story, Hawk and Dove were part of the team, but are missing from this one with no explanation. It was a good story all around, if not really seeming to fit as the team's good-bye, which so many other titles got a chance to do (see this week's Batgirl for a wonderfully done example of that). This book was okay. The story is fun, a bit difficult to pick up if you are a new reader. It does not feel like the end of a series, just the end of a story arc. It was great to see characters like Phantom Lady make an appearance, albeit briefly. Read Full Review
That said, the issue is an improvement over part one and does have some nice moments between Zinda Blake and the Phantom Lady. I also thought Manhunter worked pretty well with the team. Is it a great finale? No, not really, but for a comic that has struggled to live up to its own legacy (and struggles here without its trademark writer) it's about what I expected. Hit-and-Miss.
