Countdown #44 was a great read. I have been impressed with Beechen's writing to this point on Countdown. It seems that Dini has been able to coax out Beechen's A-game. Hopefully, working with a master like Dini will help Beechen elevate his writing and apply his newly crafted skills to the other titles that he writes. 1. It's Rude to Point. Funny thing I wanted to point out in this weeks History of the Multiverse: isnt it odd how the Monitors sit there and talk about THE Monitor, the original one, and dont think thats strange at all? That would be like me saying, The Jim observed from above. The Jim did what he could. The Jim was DESTROYED. But, thank goodness, there are plenty of Jims now to handle all of these reviews!
