Dark Knight News - Michael Devaney Aug 1, 2015

Whilethe artwork in this issue was as strong as ever, it wasn't enough to save an otherwise mediocre plot, especially when compared towhat we've come to expect from this title and its charismatic lead character. Read Full Review

Deathstroke Annual #1 isn't the god-slaying confrontation you might have hoped it would be. In fact, Deathstroke doesn't even get a chance to face the evil he has unleashed. Instead, this is yet another dream-like issue that DC has done so many times in the past where our heroes have to face their greatest fears. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - James Johnston Jul 30, 2015

Once Deathstroke has decided to keep his head bucket on, the comic kind of ends. Wonder Woman and Deathstroke are determined to kick ass. That would honestly be an okay ending if this were “Deathstroke” #8 but it's an annual. This should be a chance for the “Deathstroke” creators to show my why I should be interested in their take on the character, no? Why waste that chance by doing the middle of a story without any beginning or end? I was going to make that Homeless Dad joke anyway, I've been saving it up for three years. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Aug 9, 2015

This issue was pure filler and doesn't push the God Killer story forward one bit.  However, I love both Deathstroke and Wonder Woman and having them together is worth something in itself.  The story revolves around their inner fears and while I love me a good Bogus Journey, the revelations were hardly surprising.  I did enjoy Tyler Kirkham's art, but  I can't recommend this issue since nothing much happens.  Just hold tight until the God Killer story continues in the regular Deathstroke book. Comicosity - Aaron Long Jul 29, 2015

The net effect of a reserved take on these characters coupled with muted colours and generic pencils is a very average comic. Deathstroke is the kind of character that creators need to go a little crazy with, and Daniel has before, but there is none of that here. Here's hoping the conclusion of the story in the ongoing brings some noise. Read Full Review
