Oh hell yeah. This issue was all action from cover to cover. This issue more than made up for the complete lack of action from the last two issues. This issue was Dungeons and Dragons at it's finest. This is not a book that will be easy for new readers to digest from a standstill, but readers who have a running start should find this to be one of the strongest issues of the series thus far. One of the best facets of this book may also be its least obvious aspect: that it holds appeal for such a broad spectrum of readers. With strong female characters and a fully-developed fantasy setting, many of the smaller, less traditional comic book demographics are likely to become devoted followers of Paul Cornell's series just like I have. "Demon Knights" is a nice series overall, but I suspect I'm not the only reader ready to see the cast move on from Little Spring. Fortunately, that conclusion is just around the corner. "Demon Knights" #6 will probably read much better as part of the greater whole in a collection, but as a single issue, it's a slow patch livened up only by some of the supporting cast getting a chance to shine.
