"THE CAPE & COWL DEATHTRAP." Batman terrorizes Harcourt, a criminal mastermind who admits to bribing a judge (Arnell) and the grand jury but swears he doesn't know the identity of the person who killed Senator Locksley. Batman, believing the man knows the killer though not the person who hired him, gets tangled up with Harcourt and assassin Jeremy Wormwood in order to find the person who ordered the kill, later to be revealed as Mike Carley-the party boss.
