Suddenly, the green construct Mon-El arrives with Dream Girl, Star Boy, and Li in tow. And Li demands that they head to the World of Wisdom to defend it. So I think this was a fine issue with some good dialogue and some movement in the plot. Some more hints have peppered the book ... but I still feel a bit clueless. And it isn't like there was any major revelation here. We have two more issues to get to the ending here. I just hope that the ending isn't necessarily rushed. We have to get to the bottom of who these entities are, what their plans are, who Harmonia Li is. We need to have the villains and heroes finally square off and fight. Can all that be squished into 40 pages? As always, a great ending will make me feel a bit better about these middle issues which have dragged a bit. But if the ending feels rushed, I will wonder if the pages of these middle chapters were well spent. Read Full Review

Hopefully in the remaining issues we'll get a little more detail on places like Utopia, or characters like Saturn Queen's mysterious assistant. But we're moving at such a fast clip now that I fear we'll not get the chance. That's a real pity; Levitz is normally quite good at the gradual reveal, and this feels so strongly like being told to wrap things up as soon as possible. It's not a bad issue, but we've had much better. Read Full Review

That's pretty much it. Blow up Titan, go on and on about Oan power batteries, have Saturn Queen be more depraved than Superboy Prime in his (sorry!) prime whatever, it's all good. We care about more important things: are the teammates doing a good job, and are their personal lives going well? We've got our priorities! Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - Minhquan Nguyen Jun 19, 2011

Whatever the upcoming DC relaunch means for the Legion when it comes back in a new #1 in September, but whatever it is has caused Levitz to just throw his hands up on the current title, which convinces me I should follow suit. Consider this title Dropped. Read Full Review
