On art, Rags Morales provides his normal brand of clear, crisp visuals, even if his Batman seems like he'd be more comfortable in a 1970's comic than a modern issue. Together with Tomasi, Rags is the perfect fit for Nightwing, capturing Dick's unique personality every step of the way while offering up some exciting visuals. Read Full Review

Freefall continues on next month and I really hope its the storylines conclusion. I havent see anything online, or in the book, that details how many issues this arc is suppose to take, but Im pretty much done with it. While Rags Morales art continues to be fantastic, its not enough to keep me interested when paired with a rather boring, clich script. I hope Tomasi can turn this story around and produce a kick ass finale to keep me on Nightwing into the future. Read Full Review

This series has really struggled ever since Grayson left the book. I was optimistic for Thomasi's stretch as he does a solid job with capturing the characters and their relationships but the story isn't great which is a common trend I notice with him. My biggest problem with this issue is that Nightwing straight up kills the bad guy by having him get blasted by lightning and it's totally glossed over. He was devastated over feeling he allowed Blockbuster's death so this issue just really felt off base.
