    With Checkmate changing direction with writers soon, Im afraid this title is going to be my new go-to for DC in the coming months. Im not completely sold on the team and whats happening to them, but things are still coming together so it will take time. Its going to be very pretty to look at in the meantime as well.     I'm willing to give Batman & The Outsiders a little slack and a few issues to get itself into the groove because there's clearly some promise in the idea. It's been kind of a bumpy ride so far, but I think Chuck Dixon is on the right track with this team. Read Full Review

    Batman and the Outsiders #4 was a solid read. If you are a fan of straight up adventure/mystery tales or enjoy covert operations teams then you will probably enjoy this title. This title probably falls somewhere in the middle of all the titles that are currently on the market. Read Full Review

    Even with in congruities such as that, I still liked the book and this issue was another fun read. Not sure how the OMAC here ties in with the one in Countdown or if it ignores that altogether, but I'm a bit curious to see where that goes. Read Full Review
