This is it! Red Robin versus the Council of Spiders deep in the heart of the League of Assassins' headquarters. It's seven on one, with Red Robin facing some of the deadliest killers on the planet. Even if he can get out alive, can Tim Drake get out clean? Or has Ra's al Ghul's influence corrupted him? There's a line Batman and Robin swore they'd never cross...but to save Tam Fox's life, Red Robin may have to perform deeds he's never dared. Plus, Ra's al Ghul's master plan starts to reveal itself.
This issue isn't flashy and it's not overly complex; however, it is a ton of fun and a great characterfocused story that explores who Red Robin is, but does so without skimping on the action. More importantly, though, this is a just plain enjoyable issue. It's a fun read from start to finish with solid craftsmanship. You really can't ask for more! Read Full Review
Red Robin #8 was the best issue of this series so far. Though Yost continues to have the same problems previous issues of this series have had. Still if you are a fan of Tim Drake fan you are sure to enjoy this issue and I recommend you pick it up. The next issue will be a prologue issue to the Red Robin/Batgirl crossover so if you are looking to jump onto this title you will have to be picking up Batgirl as well in March. So be aware of that if you plan on picking up the next arc of this title. Read Full Review
