Even these strong moments, however, do not change the fact that we already know how this series will eventually end. Even an inevitable "Team Luthor" vs. "Team Joker" battle doesn't seem nearly as exciting as one would think once you realize that neither A-List character is likely to be affected when all is said and done. Like Countdown Arena, the premise of Salvation Run seems far better suited for a video game than it does a compelling narrative.
