HOLY HELL! Power Girl and Supergirl DESTROY the Extremist!

From Supergirl using her psy powers just to make Lord Havok fall to pieces, Die Hard Man uses his telekenisis to hover a battleship over the town, Supergirl and Powergirl drop it over him completely decimating him. Supergirl tears Tracer apart limb by limb!

Of course the no mercy to death battle is rationalized because the Extremist are not organic, living beings but deluded automatons (so dangerous it took the entire League including Power Girl to fight them a long time ago).

We learn more about Twilight and her ability to bring people back to life from death. Her origins go back all the way back to the plague, black death, she originally used her divine gift to save as many people as she could.

Years later she was drunk, desperetly searching for booze among the mass of death and decaying bodies. Twilight seemed to be in a phase of over-burdening herself with saving people that she overlooked her own life. Her sister was in the mass grave, Twilight attempts to revive her and fails to do so. Feeling the irony she lashes out at God and blames God for this misfortune. Swearing her eternal hate toward him.

This is contrasted as well with Linda's mother Sylvia who is also now drinking herself away after quitting her studies to be a minister. An old lady walking with her husband who are raising the mysterious boy we have seen show up multiple times throughout this series named Wally, has a heart attack in front of the same bar Sylvia is at. The bar owner ask Sylvia if she knows CPR, and in her drunken apathy she responds "Who cares".

Hopefully the next ish snaps her out of it and she saves the old lady, and Supergirl and Powergirl snap Twilight out of her centuries old vendetta against God.
