Im proud to be the only Comic G-Man to be posting and rating on Supergirl. It looks like users gave up around ish #10 sadly!
This ish was amazing! The action was really wacky and the interactions beautifully dynamic!
This ish especially hits the spot because finally after much teasing Comet is now the focus. Being chased by a really cool character named "Fracture", a Native American superhero, I dont say villain for a reason. Comet apparently went by the name of " Zed One" and owes money to whoever Fracture is working for.
Meanwhile Sylvia is still in the hospital, Martha visits to try to help Sylvia cope with her daughter being mixed with Mae. Martha's sweet way seemed unable to shake Sylvia out of her depression. The husband feeling a repeat of her past alcoholic behaviors feels discouraged enough thinking of filing a divorce. Seems a bit harsh but he did stick with Sylvia through her fighting alcoholism before she had Linda, but if she throws it all away its hard to blame him feeling that way. But hopefully he gives her a chance to work it out.
Linda is in the library to read the Earth Angels book Wally told her to read. We learn that Earth Angels are created when someone sacrifices themselves to save someone who is beyond saving, hence angelic Mae saving the Satanic Linda in the beginning. While at the library Andy (Cutter's X-Wife comedian) has been stalking Linda to ask her to eat lunch. Having her eye on Linda for a few issues but getting foiled in her pursuit she finally gets her opportunity to tell Linda she digs her clams, and wants to vacuum her rug for her.
Linda suprised by the notion rejects Andy saying shes not gay and doesn't enjoy shoveling pearls for kicks.
Andy tries to convince her to embrace her hidden cave-diving skills but gets interrupted by Fracture who takes Linda as a hostage to get Comet's attention. Linda uses her psi power to slip up Fracture to let go while mid-air, Comet saves her before she could change to Supergirl. Eventually she switches as Supergirl to fight Fracture but he overcomes her everytime.
He has a good soul so her angelic powers have no effect on Fracture or Comet, so Fracture is really after Comet for some money dispute. When Supergirl hears this and Fracture leaves with a 24 hoir warning, she tells Comet she can help him if its just about money. Only if Comet tells her who he is and what is going on. Last panel he stands over her, being a good foot 2 feet taller than her, makes out with her.
Holy hell this is some LSD trip!!!!!!!! more
