    You never know what you will get with an anthology book like this. But I thought this one worked very well. In particular, I thought the varying themes showed the breadth of stories that Superman can work in. And lastly, I hope DC ties up some of these talents and we get to see them again soon.     After a year of New Krypton stories, it was refreshing to see some bona fide Superman stories. It was great to see Kal-El suiting up and fighting crime in his own unique style. The unusual story ideas presented him in a new light and revealed different aspects of his character. Long time fans and new readers will enjoy this. Read Full Review

    I like anthologies. Generally speaking I won't pick one up and dislike it. This one is no different. These aren't for everyone and I wouldn't even recommend this one for someone looking for a specific type of Superman story. I do think people who would enjoy are those that like the character and seeing him in more of an everyday life in Metropolis instead of off fighting in space. This comic book is worth checking out if you like the short story format that gives a lot of different aspects of the Man of Steel. There isn't a dud in the brunch. Though, I hate that the comic is called an 80 pager when it only has 70, but that's publishing for you. This was a nice showcase for a wide range of talent. Read Full Review
