    The issue ends in an almost hoary bit of whimsy: A page in Destinys book, now being guarded by the Challengers of the Unknown (the real ones, not the ones looking for Ray Palmer currently). If theres an ongoing arc starting from this seventh issue, it seems it will belong to the Challs, who are trying to decipher some impending mystery or threat in piecemeal fashion. But if so, it looks like the team-ups wont be as directly related as they were in the first arc. Thats fine, as long as theyre as fun and good looking as this one. Read Full Review

    As always, George Perez's masterful artwork is extremely detailed and dynamic, but that isn't enough to compensate for Waid's unremarkable plot, which sees D-list villain Dr. Alchemy attempt and hypnotize/possess Power Girl into killing Superman. There's also a brief thread surrounding the Book of Destiny that ties this arc with the previous storyline, but again, that isn't enough to make me excited for next issue. Read Full Review
