Prisoners around Metropolis are waking up in their old homes, unaware of how they got there and being accused of escaping from Stryker’s Island. Superman will need to use all of his powers, and his journalistic skills, if he’s going to save the prisoners and get them properly exonerated!
Truth and Justice #4 is an epic story arc for Jason Todd. It is riddled with revenge, envy, anger, sadness, and hope. Overall, if you are on the hunt to read an emotional and raw story, this is the issue for you. Jason Todd is one of the most real heroes we have out there, and this issue solidifies it. Truth & Justice has a more coherent storyline this time around and one that doesn't involve gods and the supernatural but rather aliens and high-tech villains. The general idea is a solid one and focusing as much as it does on Clark being a reporter and understanding the data and what it means as opposed to what you want it to believe is dealt with as well as can be. Clark's background has him using his Smallville days well here to highlight how he can see the injustices even more clearly and just how much he and his friends got away with that others never would. It's all straightforward and there are no real surprises here but I like that the villain is unclear at this point and their larger goal uncertain, though you can figure out a few easy places it could go.
