The plot that reveals itself more fully at issues end might coax the entire plot in a direction that could seem pretty silly if Phillips isnt careful. The nature of heroism and possible twistings of altruism has been explored in the pages of comics in great depth quite a lot over the years. The story that Phillips is working with might become a victim of its own ambition if she doesnt find the right insight at the heart of her story. This is surprisingly bleak stuff, with Diana being forced to ask if there truly is any hope for humanityand deciding that if there isn't, she'll make some. It's a great characterization of the lead character, and this issue moves fast and is full of some brilliant visuals. Read Full Review
