Truly, it's a comic book that has great art and wonderful storytelling hand in hand. Overall Flash Gordon has been a great series to read. The art was gorgeous and the story was fun and clever. Bottom line time here Flash Gordon has built itself up into an excellent comic series that applies a very original, adult, and uncompromising vision to the classic character in a way that makes this feel like a legitimate revitalization and not just a quick update for modern times, this could've easily ended up a cheap cash-in comic and the fact that Flash Gordon is not only good but as great as it is, is the kind of delightful surprise we just don't see often enough; recommended.
