Qualano delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The visuals capture the characters beautifully and the action and visual thrills I love about this story. Read Full Review

Gargoyles Quest #3 is a stellar continuation to this story and follows both the heroes and villains as they fight against each other. Weisman brings back plot points from both the show and previous comics to maintain continuity and weaves a compelling tale to interconnect various plot threads. What does Demona have planned for the future and what will happen when the three keys to power are unleashed? Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Aug 1, 2024

The central problem seems to lie in the fact that Weisman hasnt been able to frame the story in a way that works. The overall adventure involving a series of ancient magical artifacts in the so-recently-contemporary 1990s really SHOULD be a lot more fun than Weisman is able to conjure for the series. Its too bad as he is playing with some very, very fun characters that simply dont have much of a chance to be fun here. Falstaff and Puck and Shahrizad really SHOULD be great fun in the shadow of the Gargoyles. Things move too quickly in the series for them to properly show their charm. Read Full Review

Pretty good. It's leading up to what I'm hoping will be a good climax. My only complaint is the constant delays in release like with the Darkwing Duck books. Otherwise I'm pretty impressed so far. It's really sad though that it seems Dynamite has decided to stop here with the Gargoyles.
One impressive twist is the revelation that Puck was the Pied Piper. It's like how they used Shakespeare and other classic literature was used in reference on the original show. I'm also looking forward to seeing what Thailog and the Illuminati are planning for the keys themselves. We only have 2 issues left and I'm looking forward to them. It looks very promising.
