Justice Ducks #5 presents a good story that wraps plot points from previous issues together and ties it up nicely, while subverting reader expectations. It gives us a compelling plot twist while providing us with sympathetic characters, but the downgrade is that the Justice Ducks team havent really faced any notable threats throughout this series, though were probably not meant to take the team, or this series, to seriously to begin with. Still, it would be nice if they had a sizeable adversary. That being said, this is supposed to be the final issue of this miniseries so they probably were focused on telling to intense of stories. If you like family-friendly stories to introduce younger readers to the world of Darkwing Duck, this series is for you, but if youre looking for epic action and character-driven story arcs, youd have to look elsewhere.
