The end is nigh! The end of the world, that is, now that sorcerer Kulan Gath has summoned powerful Mayan avatars of destruction to reduce the planet to ashes. Earth's only hope is a motley band of warriors, including Red Sonja, Vampirella, Dracula, Pantha, Herbert West the Reanimator and more, who must stand against Gath's minions. It's a contest of champions, with the very survival of our world depending on the outcome. Writer Ron Marz and artist Walter Geovani continue Dynamite's crossover to end all crossovers!

Prophecy is helmed by a great creative team at the height of their craft, playing with ancient legend, pulp favorites, and cult classics to make a story that's not to be missed. Don't let the licensed characters fool you into passing on one of the best comics out there right now. Read Full Review

This series is a huge crossover of many of Dynamites main titles including Army of Darkness, Red Sonja, Panthra, Vampirella and more. The cheese factor is very high but the story is pretty fun. You get a good mix of T&A, violence and humor which can make a good title great. We find our heroes battling creatures that look like Mexican Gods all across the world, seems to be a play on the whole 2012 end of the world idea, which I think is a kind of cool concept. Ill also say Im bias here because Ash is one of my all-time favorite heroes so I love this book on just that but Ill say even without him its still pretty cool. The art is dark and gritty with very sharp colors and design, and there are half naked chicks on almost every page. The look of the monsters is also very cool, especially if youre into ancient mythos. Can our heroes save the worldI actually cant wait for next month to find out. Read Full Review

I do believe there is supposed to be six issues in this crossover event, and I hope there are no more additions to take away from the story line. I may be a simple concept, but it is being executed very well. I've never really been a fan of crossover comics, but in this case it's where I've been learning more about Dynamite's characters. I can only assume Prophecy will be collected in a TPB or maybe even a hardcover, if you want to wait. If you're interested in any Dynamite characters this is a perfect place to jump on and discover with very little commitment involved. Read Full Review
