This series has been so much fun, even though it's a murder mystery and deals with some mature content. It's amazing how this creative team has brought this story full circle and linked Vampirella's homeworld into the proceedings. Vampirella's responsibilities bring her home. Red Sonja's presence is perfunctory, it's like she's only needed to be the muscle, but what makes her a necessary character is the way she has to interact with present-day reality, being taken out of time.
