It did feel as though the dialogue fell a bit flat, but overall it was solid for what's to come next. Read Full Review

All things considered, The Shadow #13 is a likely candidate for one of the best in the series so far. The initial plot set-up easily lends itself to a giddy anticipation between issues, and the exciting nature of this mystery will likely hold its ground as a great reread upon a return to the arc. The creative teams that have gotten the privilege of working on this timeless character have not disappointed long-time fans and this certainly remains the case with #13. Read Full Review

Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell May 15, 2013

The Shadow #13 is a solid start for Roberson. We have an intriguing story at work with a mysterious killer who looks like a nun. You're left wanting more Shadow, but Roberson handles Lamont well enough to keep you turning the page. It's a good story that suffers a little from a few odd art choices. The next issue looks promising and I believe we'll be running along smoothly in no time. 3.5/5Follow @comicbtherapy Read Full Review
