The Shadow's search for the secret of the girasol has lead him from the concrete canyons of New York City, to the snowy wastes of Siberia, and now to the peaks of the Himalayas, the fabled Roof of the World. But will he find the answers he seeks there, or only his own death?
In the end this is another solid issue that puts characterization before all and still manages to take us through this story progression. Sure anyone could want more action considering the story arc previous, but I think that Chris knows what he wants from The Shadow and what more this story has to offer than just fighting the next person who commits a murder. This is more than just the next crime, this is a mystery that in the end allows us to understand what kind of person Lamont is as a many who has lived a long life and more than one. Read Full Review

Once again the storyline touches on a piece of The Shadow's past without revealing too much of the man he once was, other than the fact that he lived many lives in several different countries before learning the secret to cloud men's minds and deciding to make New York City his home.
