Vampirella #12 is one of those titles that commands attention. Sure it's been written off in the past due to the heroine's outfit but now's the time to give the franchise a chance, as its current creative team has delivered yet another good issue for you to enjoy. In short: it's time to catch up with this lasting iconand enjoy what you've been missing. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge May 20, 2015

Vampirella brings previous events to a close, with ramifications for the future to be sure, and begins its next path in a good way. Her attempt at changing some of the things that her people do makes sense, as does the push back as many don't believe that she's truly one of them. While she did pass Drago's tests, there's also the awareness that Drago set the tests just for her, in an attempt to strengthen and educate her to handle the role. But that's something that sticks in their craw too, which reinforces that she didn't truly earn it on her own since it was designed to build her up. The book has some good ideas to it and it's taking things to the next level by focusing on where she is now and what she has to tame while also potentially dealing with more fallout from her sister out there in the world as well. Good stuff and another very fun read that looked fantastic, even if overly dark in many places. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - James Anders II May 22, 2015

This series has had more hits than misses. But it appears to be gaining some momentum as it wears on. Vampirella is entering into new territory that will more than likely cause her to return to old territory in dealing with some threats that await her. Something big (and unknown) is brewing in the hands of a Nosferatu named Count Savanovic that looks like will be causing some serious trouble for our Queen. Needless to say, I am on board. Comic Crusaders - Johnny Hughes May 19, 2015

I have enjoyed my venture into Vampirella's world. I am glad to say that this book is more engaging that the Swords issue, which may be due to the constraints of the crossover format or even the fact this story is in full flow, rather than just starting out. Whatever the case, Vampirella is definitely going strong in her own book. Read Full Review
