    VENGEANCE OF VAMPIRELLA #23 is full of surprises. By taking a story that is already finished and finding a brilliant way to introduce a new threat, the series feels like it has a fresh reason to continue and not simply hang on because it doesnt know when to quit. The art is getting better with each issue, and the creative choice to jump ahead a few years opens up a ton of story possibilities. Read Full Review

    I'll admit, I expected a few more installments of one-off stories or a smaller arc to show more of the two journeying together rather than this leap forward. I really wanted the book to get a chance to breathe some before going into another major storyline. But that's not to be as the old friend is the new enemy and Vampirella has once again had someone meaningful taken from her. That never ends well for everyone involved so we have an idea of where this is likely to go unless a twist is put into play with her new opponents. Read Full Review
