    Zorro is a fantastic read for a first issue. In the tradition of The Lone Ranger, Zorro captures the essence of the character seemingly as it was always mean to be. The exploration into Diego's past will be very important to the continued story of Zorro throughout this series. This series has a great deal of potential and Dynamite's success with licensed properties should continue. Read Full Review

    Zorro #1 is something of a disappointment for this longtime fan, and that's a shame. Wagner is one of the true greats of the medium, and I can only hope he'll be able to iron out the many kinks in future issues. There's no reason Zorro can't rival Lone Ranger in quality. Read Full Review
