Paulina Ganucheau brings us a strong opening issue that gives little away while building the mystery surrounding the farmhouse and the cave we first see in the dream sequence. I also enjoyed the fact that Dean is still in contact with Sam by phone, trying to sort things out but getting stonewalled. This feels consistent with how the brothers have behaved after falling out in the Supernatural TV series. Read Full Review

Supernatural: Sam Winchester #1 launches a new era for Supernatural, thrusting the younger Winchester brother into a macabre mystery. I'm sure Sam and Dean won't stay separated for long, but it'll be fun to see how they both fare in their respective series. Read Full Review

SUPERNATURAL: SAM WINCHESTER #1 follows the events of the recent Wayward Comic, and it left me excited to see where the hell we’re going. Sam had a lot going on in the first couple of seasons of Supernatural, and that’s the Sammy we’re seeing now. He’s struggling with so many things at once. The loss of Jess, leaving the “normal” life he wanted, premonitions, and now a monster telling him what to do, and to ignore his brother. The one person who has always put him first. Where this road will lead, I’m not sure yet, but I can’t wait to see! Read Full Review
