Piskor does a great job with his research and keeps things grounded. It is a strong book. The art is raw and dark. This is not a book that you can digest and forget about. It will stick with you for sure. Read Full Review
More gory goodness from Ed Piskor in ‘Red Room' #2. One of the baddest comics on the shelves, in every sense of the word. Read Full Review
While the overzealous gore and violence may turn off some potential readers, I'd still heartily recommend dipping your toe into Piskor's crimson-coloured waters. There was a point in this book where I questioned why I am reading such an F'd up book but, theres something more to it than the just the gore. And it has me coming back no matter how ashamed I get haha.
I know this is my fault. I admit this book isn't for me. The violence and gore makes me wonder why I am reading this... specially on this issue. I admit there was something compelling on issue #1 storywise but haven't find any of that on this issue. Just gore for the sake of showing gore. I will pick issue 3 cause I like Ed Piskor work... but that will be a deal breaker for me.
