I told you some key things about I am Legion, but I left a lot out. Because this book is a snowball rolling down a hill. Once it starts going it just keeps building and building until it all comes apart as a beautiful mess at the end. And by the time you see what the book is really about, it'll be too late. Its a story about sacrifice and commitment in service to the respective causes of each side or party. The battle may be between good and evil but its delivered from the point of view of those in service to the side theyve chosen to fight for. There is a constant sense of duty, no matter what the motivation is and you feel it in the characters actions and words. It cannot be said enough that despite being an amazingly complex storyline it still comes across in a way that begs you to keep reading. I like this type of book, because it is not the same old, same old we see every day in comic form. But I have to be honest about something, I think this book is exactly WHY we don't. The nuance of the story is just completely lost. I am Legion is a great story, but not a very good comic book. I'd much rather see it as an actual book, and I don't like saying that. Read Full Review
