Dec 12, 2012One of my favorite things about this book is the way the art has rough lines, and gritty spots all around the panels. I love the way splats are put all over the panels because it adds a sense of grit that captivates and audience. When Mitten and Fotos are doing the art for this book they are truly forcing readers to give an extra look at their art and that is something that is hard to do in today's world, where readers see something, read it, and keep moving on.30 Days of Night #12 might not be the best place to jump on to this comic as it is clearly and end to a plot/arc but if you told me you wanted to start reading a comic that was gritty with a lot of action panels and a strong sense of story than I would tell you to read this book and prepare to get hooked into 30DoN and the team of Niles, Mitten and Fotos.
