What starts as a desert survival exercise for the Joes turns into a fight for survival, with COBRA soldiers sent to find the Pit. Unarmed and out of communication, Covergirl, Downtown, and Tripwire must outwit, outlast, and outkill COBRA's best if they want to stay alive and prevent the disclosure of the Pit's secret location. The start of an all-new storyline, featuring art by S.L. Gallant (G.I. Joe Origins: Mainframe).

May 21, 2010The strength of the writing in this issue definitely propels it up the Rankings, but SL Gallant deserves a lot of credit for stepping up with the art. This is definitely the highest quality art that we've seen from Gallant and he chose a great issue to showcase it as this is also one the strongest GI Joe issues that Dixon has produced. You really shouldn't miss this great doneinone. Read Full Review
