    Van Lente will be missed, but it seems G.I. Joe fans are in safe hands with Paul Allor writing the book. Building up a more complex and fleshed-out past for Cobra is a great idea, while also building on the tensions between the Baroness and Cobra Commander that Van Lente set up. This is a great read and one of the better handled anthology style books that Ive read in a while. Read Full Review

    Focused on telling the legendary and bloody history of former Cobra Commanders, the latest issue fills in readers to just how long Cobra has been operating. It also reminds us that not all of Cobra's attacks come with a H.I.S.S. Tank, M.A.S.S. Device, or a gun. Worth a look. Read Full Review

    All in all, it's not amazing, but it isn't bad either. While the series may be stalling after its last big arc,, here's to hoping G.I Joe picks up the pace a bit more in 2014. Read Full Review
