How do you combat an experimental Nazi Submarine that's armed to the teeth? Why, you commandeer your own, of course! It's U-Boat versus U-Boat in a tense underwater battle to the death that could determine the entire fate of the dinosaurs, and perhaps that of Tommy's very soul.
The series has been an unashamed joy to read. It doesn't try to be a none more dark story that seems to be the default for many titles. Half Past Danger is pure fun and excitement, packed with great action and interesting characters. It's the film 'Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' should have been. Despite being, or perhaps because of being a first time writer, Mooney brings a swagger, confidence and humor to his creation that is missing from a lot of the big two's larger titles. As excited as I am for the series to reach its conclusion I am quite sad at the thoughts of one of the freshest and most exciting title in years come to a close. Read Full Review
When compared to last issue there's a lot more exposition here (largely because the protagonists do need to get from point A to point B) but there's still plenty of action to speak of. Basically the gear is lowered so that the next issue will completely explode. To get the characters from A to B, Mooney incorporates a game of chicken between submarines, some Nazi neck snapping and a very big twist you might not be expecting. I call that a win even if the action slows a bit. 10Well told story through and throughLooks great, reads greatI mean, there could be more pages? Read Full Review

With only one issue left I'll definitely be back for it. If you missed out on this series, which is possible because I haven't seen a lot of marketing for it since its release, then check it out. Sure you might have to wait for a trade at this point, but if you can get back issues then go for it. If you want instant gratification then check it out in a digital storefront as well. I really dug this series and regret not talking about it each month, but I'm also glad that I stuck with it. Read Full Review
Half Past Danger is one of the most underrated comics out there and people who just want a great adventure title should really check this out. I highly recommend reading the previous issue first, though. This is not an issue to jump in on. If you have been following this series than this issue is essential reading. Mooney has done an incredible job with this series and really put his name out there on a lot of radars and with good reason. Can't wait till the next issue! Read Full Review
